THE TEAM DURAMUK was founded in 2008 by Master Nuno “Duramuk” Duran, and is dedicated to teaching and training of Kickboxing and Muay Thai, for competitive athletes or for athletes of all ages who want to optimize and maintain their physical shape, through learning these martial arts that require enormous physical and mental discipline.

Despite having only been in existence for a decade, TEAM DURAMUK has several important achievements, with the World Kickboxing Champion Title and the bronze medal at the WAKO European Championship being the most prestigious.

Come train with us to get to know our team.

The 1st class is free and without any obligation.

Just book the class at your preferred time, and bring training clothes (t-shirt and shorts) and a towel. If you don’t have kickboxing equipment (bandages, gloves and shin guards) we will lend it for you to practice in the class.

Comfortable sports clothing (e.g. shorts and t-shirt), a face towel and, if you have one, you should also bring some sports equipment such as hand bandages, gloves and shin guards. If you do not have any equipment for the modalities, we will lend you the available equipment.

Our class for children up to 10 years old takes place every Saturday at 10am.

Our classes bring immense benefits to children, such as improving physical condition, flexibility, balance and motor coordination, but mainly an increase in self-confidence, concentration and discipline.

Team Duramuk’s team spirit is a pillar in our classes, so we teach the values that are fundamental to us, such as respect and humility for our colleagues, friends and family.

FAQ – Frequent Questions.

How can I book a free trial class?

Just contact master Nuno Duran by SMS or WhatsApp (+351) 967 734 557, and ask to schedule the trial class at your preferred time. This way, master Nuno Duran will be able to confirm if there is a vacancy on that day and time. Trial classes are free and without any commitment. At the end of the class, if you wish to be part of our team, simply speak to the master to agree on which classes and frequency of your training.

What equipment do I need to bring to the 1st class?

For the trial class you should bring comfortable training clothes (t-shirt and shorts), a towel and we always advise you to bring a bottle of water. If you don’t have kickboxing equipment (bandages, gloves and shin guards) we will lend it for you to practice in the class. If you need help purchasing equipment, you can speak to master Nuno Duran, who will advise you on the best equipment, taking into account your intended objective.

Is Muay Thai and Kickboxing training recommended for what ages?

Our training is suitable for all ages and physical conditions. From 4 to 10 years old, students join the children’s class, held on Saturdays from 10am to 11am. From the age of 11, students can attend the senior class. There is no age limit for training with us, what matters is the desire to improve mentally and physically, and a good mood!

Do I need to have some experience in combat sports?

It is not necessary to have any experience. In our team, students help each other, sharing advice, encouragement and techniques, in an environment of great friendship, unity and good humor. This way, everyone can evolve and achieve their goal.

What are the advantages of training Muay Thai and Kickboxing?

Being very dynamic and intense sports, which in addition to improving physical condition, resistance and promoting muscle strengthening, increases elasticity and promotes good cardiovascular functioning. In addition to disciplining the body, our training also works the mind, increasing concentration and focus, favoring school and work performance. Self-esteem is also improved, where each class makes us feel more secure and confident in our abilities, our image and our relationships with others.

Can I train, even if I don’t want to compete?

Of course yes, everyone can train regardless of their goal, be it learning a new sport, improving their physical condition, losing weight or competing. The workouts are adapted to all personal goals.
